The Pro's low-profile, patented coil design provides 360 degrees of traction on slippery ice and snow, giving stability in all directions and allowing users to move about naturally as they would normally have on dry surfaces. Made of high-strength, abrasion and rust-resistant 1.4 mm steel coils and heavy-duty natural rubber, the Pros are durable and easily conform to the shape of any boot or shoe. For oversized shoes or boots, Yaktrax recommends purchasing one size larger than your normal shoe size.

Great! Buy correct size & store correctly

These are wonderful and long lasting! I have owned the same pair for over 15 years. Be sure buy a size that stretches only moderately. And store them in a ziplock bag to keep the rubber from drying out. (Some are buying too small and stretching the rubber too much.)

Rubber not very durable, I'm disappointed..

I love them until the rubber suddenly broke off! I'm contemplating buying a new pair, but wish this model had the same rubber durability at the running model.

Great while they lasted, did not hold up though.

Provided great traction. However, only lasted 5 days of use. The rubber membrane broke will on a fairly simple hike.

Better than spikes on ice

I bought Yaktrax while hiking in Yosemity in January. I could walk downhill in totally iced trail, they worked perfectly. They are not suitable to the gravely, sharp root forest trails as the rubber get damaged. My pair lasted 2-3 years before broken.

A must have in harsh winter conditions

I live where winters are harsh. Last year 325" of snow. I walk every day with plenty of ice. I wear Tracs over winter boots. Very safe and helpful. I buy 2 pair a year.
